  • 2022 Whale of a Sale

    Irish Boat Shop 7580 S. State St., Harbor Springs, MI

    This year we will be accepting boat and non-boat donations. All boat donations must be inspected and accepted. If you have a boat you wish to donate please contact Eli Baker at Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council at (231) 347-1181. All small items and non-boat donations can be dropped off at Irish Boat Shop in Harbor Springs or Charlevoix. Clothing items are not accepted.

  • MI Paddle Stewards Invasive Species Plant Training

    The Watershed Council is partnering with Paddle Antrim and Little Traverse Conservancy to host a paddling event on the Jordan River. Come learn about kayak safety, invasive species, and explore one of the conservancy’s preserves. Location TBD.

  • Northern Michigan Clean Waters Challenge 2022

    We’re at it again with our Clean Waters Challenge! Spend some time cleaning up one of our area streams, rivers, or beaches and be entered to win one of several awesome prizes donated by our partner, Bearcub Outfitters. We’ve got a list of sites to choose from on our website at www.watershedcouncil.org/clean-waters-challenge. Register and follow the instructions on the site for posting pics to social media to be eligible to win prizes. And don’t forget to stop by Pennsylvania Park for our kickoff event. We’ll have snacks and clean-up gear, and we’d love to see your smiling faces!

  • Brew on the Bay – networking event

    Brew on the Bay is a networking event for members of lake associations and friends groups. This is an opportunity to gather and share your knowledge and experience with one another over coffee.

  • Northern Michigan Volunteer Stream Monitoring Fall Session

    Participants will spend approximately one hour learning about the importance of stream monitoring. A hands-on training session will follow at 6pm on Spencer Creek. Please dress for the weather. Refreshments provided. Alden, MI: Exact Location TBD
