Northern Michigan Clean Waters Challenge 2022
We’re at it again with our Clean Waters Challenge! Spend some time cleaning up one of our area streams, rivers, or beaches and be entered to win one of several awesome prizes donated by our partner, Bearcub Outfitters. We’ve got a list of sites to choose from on our website at www.watershedcouncil.org/clean-waters-challenge. Register and follow the instructions on the site for posting pics to social media to be eligible to win prizes. And don’t forget to stop by Pennsylvania Park for our kickoff event. We’ll have snacks and clean-up gear, and we’d love to see your smiling faces!
Brew on the Bay – networking event
Brew on the Bay is a networking event for members of lake associations and friends groups. This is an opportunity to gather and share your knowledge and experience with one another over coffee.
Northern Michigan Volunteer Stream Monitoring Fall Session
Participants will spend approximately one hour learning about the importance of stream monitoring. A hands-on training session will follow at 6pm on Spencer Creek. Please dress for the weather. Refreshments provided. Alden, MI: Exact Location TBD
