Songs About the Environment

So many things are just easier to remember when sung in a song!
We have found that younger students truly enjoy singing songs so we have provided a short list here. We would like to have more music listed so if you have some favorites you have used, please share them by contacting us.

Many of our environmental videos are music videos and may be played just for the audio portion. We found a much larger selection of free videos as compared to free music.

Music Lyrics and Audio Samples

The following songs have a free printable lyric sheet and a link if you wish to hear a sample of the music and melody of the song.  Lyrics may also be sung to well known melodies of your choosing.  A link on the lyric page also provides a website url if you wish to purchase the music for the song.  On average, the purchase of each song costs about $0.99, however, the lyrics are free.  For more song lists on a variety of subjects with lyrics and music samples, please visit the Songs for Teaching website.
