MI Paddle Stewards Invasive Species Plant Training

The Watershed Council is partnering with Paddle Antrim and Little Traverse Conservancy to host a paddling event on the Jordan River. Come learn about kayak safety, invasive species, and explore one of the conservancy’s preserves. Location TBD.

Northern Michigan Clean Waters Challenge 2022

We’re at it again with our Clean Waters Challenge! Spend some time cleaning up one of our area streams, rivers, or beaches and be entered to win one of several awesome prizes donated by our partner, Bearcub Outfitters. We’ve got a list of sites to choose from on our website at www.watershedcouncil.org/clean-waters-challenge. Register and follow the instructions on the site for posting pics to social media to be eligible to win prizes. And don’t forget to stop by Pennsylvania Park for our kickoff event. We’ll have snacks and clean-up gear, and we’d love to see your smiling faces!

Our Words have the Power to Save the Water – Day Camp, Ages 8-12

CADL, South Lansing Branch 3500 South Cedar Street, Lansing, MI

This day camp for children ages 8-12 will focus on reading and writing tales of water from different cultures with a focus on the importance of water in the environment. Students will get to explore the role of water in their own lives and communities and (re)imagine ways to save the water.

Cedar River Cleanup – Gladwin City
