Stream Monitoring Bug Identification Day

Join us on November 29th at The University of Olivet to identify bugs collected from Eaton County stream sites. Learn to identify different macroinvertebrates, or larval aquatic insects, using microscopes and guidebooks. We will calculate a water quality score for each stream site based on the quantity and diversity of insects collected. A science background is not required. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a participating adult.
Participants should meet at the C.S. Mott Academic Center (320 S Main St Olivet, MI 49076) Room 104 on November 29th from 12-2 PM.
