Quiet Adventures Symposium

The Quiet Adventures Symposium is where people passionate about quiet non-motorized activities come together. The group includes paddlers and bicyclists, hikers and fishermen and women, backpackers and campers, and all other quiet adventurers. The best adventure experts come and speak on a wide range of topics. Here is our 2024 speaker schedule and 2024 demonstration schedule. Speakers will share their experiences and expertise about Isle Royale, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Mt Blanc, Patagonia, Mississippi River (fast and slow) to name a few places.
The 29th Annual Quiet Adventures Symposium, “Connect with Adventure”, will be on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the MSU Pavilion (4301 Farm Lane, Lansing, MI) between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm. The Symposium is hosted by the nonprofit Quiet Adventures Society, formerly the Quiet Water Society.
Admission for adults is $15 in advance through Feb 26, $20 at the door, students w/ID $5 and children under 12 are free.
