The Muskegon River Trash Bash is an opportunity for residents and visitors of all ages to have an immediate and visible impact on the river, its tributaries, and the thousands of acres of land that surround it. The 2,725 square miles of the Muskegon River watershed contains approximately 94 connecting streams, and travels over 216 miles through nine counties from Higgins Lake to Lake Michigan in Muskegon. Throughout the month of August teams of every size throughout the watershed give their time to making the Muskegon river healthier and more beautiful.
