Global Water Fest Grand Rapids

Prepare for the ultimate two-day water adventure and celebration at the third annual Global Water Fest! This July, Canal Park will host the highly-anticipated return of the Dragon Boat Races on the Grand River, featuring FOUR beautiful Dragon Boats racing down the river all day.
Satisfy your taste buds with global cuisine, discover the works of local artisans, and enjoy live entertainment at this free, family-friendly event presented by the Grand Rapids Asian Pacific Foundation.
Water has been revered across time and culture, supporting communities and reviving those who drink from it or live by its sources.
This year, we’re introducing a community paddle session where attendees can ride the dragon boats and paddle in the Grand River. We also have paddle boards and kayaks; guests can bring their watercraft.
Join us this July as we activate the Grand River and showcase the diverse global cultures that celebrate the beauty and power of water.
