DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 35th Annual Rouge Rescue River Cleanup event! We have 15+ sites across Southeast Michigan in the Rouge River watershed- come find which one is closest to you! Start and end times may be different for each site. Activates vary from site to site but overall include litter cleanup\, invasive species removal\, managing woody debris in the river\, native plantings\, educational events are more. Go to https://therouge.org/rouge-rescue/ to all event locations. See how you can get involved today at one of our in person events. Be sure to dress for the weather\, wear closed toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated\, all other supplies needed will be provided. All sites will be following strict Covid-19 protocols including masks\, social distancing and limited volunteer spots\, so sign up TODAY! Registration is required.
