SUMMARY:CRWC Cleanup on the Clinton with Representative Mentzer
DESCRIPTION:A Bi-Partisan River Clean-Up Event Hosted by Michigan Representative Mentzer and the Clinton River Watershed Council \nJoin CRWC\, Representative Mentzer\, and Representative Aragona for a bi-partisan effort to improve local parks\, community trails\, and the Clinton River. By participating in cleanups\, we prevent pollutants from entering our rivers and streams\, ensuring the cleanliness of our waterways and preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings. \nThis clean-up is open to individuals of all skill levels and encourages everyone\, from residents to community leaders\, to get involved directly in improving the health and natural beauty of the watershed. \nVolunteers will be given supplies and broken into teams to take part in clean-up efforts in the park and in the river. \nGloves\, trash bags\, grabbers\, and other equipment will be provided to volunteers. Feel free to bring your own gloves and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy footwear.  If you intend to participate in the river cleanup\, wear clothes that can get wet. \nRegistration is required for this event and will close on June 14\, 2024\, at noon.  To register\, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/clean-up-collaboration.
